Getting started

Here we are setting up the environment for development.

Create an envionment for streamlit

Run this is the terminal to create a new environment.

python3 -m venv env && source ./env/bin/activate

Installing Streamlit

Run the following in the terminal:

pip install streamlit

Create a file called app.py

Copy the code and call the file app.py

import streamlit as st

st.write("# Header 1")

Run the app

Run the app by executing the following in the terminal:

streamlit run app.py

What about deployment?

You can use a paid service such as Streamlit cloud, but I want to show you how to use github and AWS EC2 to deploy the app on the web.
